1.Uses:

It can be used to produce prebaked anode in the electrolytic aluminium industry,

high power electrodebar, painting, electrode and pitch coke. It also can be used as

fuel and the raw material of asphalt carbon black.

2.Property:

At normal temperature modified pitch is black brittle block with gloss; It has some odour and it is toxic.

Boiling Point: less than less than 470 °C

Flashing point: 204.4 °C

Relative Density (water = 1) : 1.15 ~ 1.25.

This product conforms YB/T5194-93 modified pitch standards.
