The year 2004 was conducted in the normal way, with an early maturation, and the harvest in mid-September.
The good plant health conditions that had allowed the grapes make the best of the special features of the varieties produced.
WinemakingThe grapes are carefully selected and carried in boxes of 25 kilos to the wine cellar.
The fermentation of the red grapes happens without the raking of the grapes in the granite tanks and by treading the grape, with long maceration, which provide rich and mild tannins.
Once the fermentation in the granite tanks is complete, the masses are pressed using the pneumatic press, being only one part added to the must drained. The must is transferred through the air to the other warehouse, where it is stored in stainless steel wine vats, where the alcoholic fermentation is conclude and in which the malolactic fermentation took place.
The wine was driven to new French and American oak barrels, where it matured for 6 months, before it bottling.
It was bottled without filtration in February 2007.
