This is an Eco friendly dryer that uses 60% less gas and electricity to other dryers of their same class. Over a period of time the financial savings to print operations can be huge, in addition the emissions are so low that in the UK the government are providing grants to businesses who replace their existing dryers with this new type of dryer. Therefore the manufacturers are proud to have a product with such a low carbon foot print.

This dryer can also be manufactured as an Electric Dryer or as a gas dryer.

General

Remote gas heated airflow systems provide levels of accuracy within the whole tunnel to within + or 10^oC consistently with constant pressure, irrespective of the oven temperature settings.

All modules are fully insulated to prevent heat loss. Nominal external temperature of the dryer to be no higher than 35ºC after 3 hours running time at 120ºC

Drying rates

Adjustable air volume from 3,000 cubic m/min.

Gas Air temperature range:                        minimum 70ºC

                                                            Maximum 200ºC

 Electric Air temperature range:     minimum 50ºC

                                                            Maximum 180ºC

Belt speed variable between 1 and 12 m/s.

Belt material PTFE coated fibreglass running on steel supports.

Inlet station

The inlet module contains a tracking system to keep the conveyor running true.

Emergency stops on both sides.

Control panel can be fitted on either side of the inlet station. Gas and exhaust connection will be on the same side of the dryer.

The control panel contains a high specification controller with operator interface:

¨      Set temperature and actual temperature indicator

¨      Belt speed indicator

¨      Burner ON indicator (applies to gas only)

¨      Burner FAULT indicator(applies to gas only)

Outlet station

The outlet station contains roller drive motor and inline reduction gearboxes. .

Emergency stops on both sides.
