Capitoline Antinous sculpture

Capitoline Antinous In the 18th century it was considered to be one of the most beautiful Roman copies of a Greek statue in the world. It was then thought to represent Hadrian's lover Antinous owing to its fleshy face and physique and downturned look. We have cast this sculpture in our own Yalova art foundry using 14 kg of pure bronze and finished the sculpture with a deep, rich patina in tones of brown. Mounted onto a marble base and stands 67 cm height by 24 cm width.
