OLIVINE

We would like to introduce our company and our olivine material to be supplied from
Turkey. ARK Industry Products Trade Ltd was established in 1994 in Istanbul and
ARK has focused on marketing of olivine refractory products. Olivine sand is
ideally for range of applications because of its:

-High melting point
-High magnesium oxide content
-High relative density
-Hard grain 
-Excellent heat storing properties  


These properties mean that olivine is highly versatile and it is therefore in great
demand. The chemical formula is (Mg,Fe)2SiO4. Olivine occurs in deposits in volcanic
rocks.  The mineral properties of olivine is in attached. 

Ranges and specifications:

ARK 01/0-1		:0-3 mm (used for slag conditioning in sinter plant, monolithics			 spray
mixes, castables ,etc )
ARK 01/ 2-8		:2-8 mm (used for EBT tap hole sand ), other size ranges
			are also produced on demand of the buyer due to its arc furnace			tapping experiences.

ARK01/10-30	:10-30 mm (used for slag conditioning in blast furnaces, direct charge.
ARK 01/ 2-15	:2-15 mm (used as raw material for refractory application and  as concrete
additives. )
