PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

MASONRY MAX WB-3 is a water based, high performance penetrating sealer that provides excellent water and oil repellency on all masonry surfaces.

WB-3  is formulated with high performance synthetic polymers and surfactants in a water based solution.

These polymers are U V stabilized and the have excellent ability to penetrate deeply into porous structure of the materials. Once WB-3 is applied onto the substrates and cured, it provides a durable protection both for interior and exterior applications.

WB-3 is an impregnator and permits vapour transmission on the treated substrates, this allows porous materials such as sandstone, limestone and similar materials to breathe. This is very important due to the fact that

sandstone and limestone are constantly expanding and contracting under different surface temperatures and weathering conditions, therefore the treated surface must be able to breathe, otherwise fretting and exfoliation of the surface may occur through expansion and contraction, and this could ultimately lead to decay of the surfaces.

WB-3 assists in reducing efflorescence from entering and appearing on the stone, damaging efflorescence enter the stone by rainwater from the ground via footings, or from the mortar joints.

WB-3 modifies and reduced the pore size and capillary of the stone and grout joints to discourages water and solublised efflorescence from entering the porous structure, and to migrate to the surface. Due to the porosity of the surface is greatly reduced, any existing efflorescence on the surface can be washed away without being embedded back into the treated materials.

Surfaces that treated with WB-3 will dry faster after cleaning, this is due to the fact that the porosity and the absorbency of the surface has been greatly reduced. The polymers have excellent properties in repelling dirt, water and oil borne contaminates, therefore treated surfaces are easier to clean and to maintain by using cleaners such as NEUTRAL KLEEN OR ALKA-KLEEN.
