MASONRY MAX 1000 IPA is a solvent based, high performance penetrating sealer that provides excellent water and oil repellency on all masonry surfaces.

1000 IPA is formulated with high performance synthetic resins and polymers in a solvent blend,These resins and polymers are U V stabilized and the have excellent ability to penetrate deeply into porous structure of the materials. Once 1000 IPA is applied onto the substrates and cured, it will provides a durable protection both for interior and exterior applications.

1000 IPA is an impregnator and permits vapour transmission on the treated substrates, this allows porous materials such as sandstone, limestone and similar materials to breathe. This is very important due to the fact that sandstone and limestone are constantly expanding and contracting under different surface temperatures and weathering conditions, therefore the treated surface must be able to breathe, otherwise fretting and exfoliation of the surface may occur through expansion and contraction, and this could ultimately lead to decay of the surfaces.

1000 IPA assists in preventing efflorescence from entering and appearing on the stone, damaging efflorescence enter the stone by atmosphere and in rainwater, from the ground via footings, or from the mortar joints.

1000 IPA modifies and reduced the pore size and capillary of the stone, and discourages water and solublised efflorescence from entering the porous structure and to migrate to the surface. Due to the porosity of the surface is greatly reduced, any existing efflorescence on the surface can be washed away without being re-embedded back into the treated materials.

Surfaces that treated with 1000 IPA will dry faster after cleaning, this is due to the fact that the porosity and the absorbency of the surface has been greatly reduced. The resins and polymers have excellent properties in repelling dirt, water and oil borne contaminates, therefore treated surfaces are easier to clean and to maintain by using cleaners such as NEUTRALKLEEN and ALKA-KLEEN.
