The pergola is made of 100% non-endangered Shorea, a hardwood growing naturally and plentifully in Vietnamese protected forests. In Asia Pacific, shorea has been the wood of choice for centuries in shipbuilding, furniture, houses, and many other uses. Because of its hardness and the natural oils present in the wood, Shorea products are extremely resistant to fungi, termites, rot and decay. In addition, the wood is also carefully kiln-dried prior to production.

Marine-grade stainless steel is the premium choice for pergola hardware, because it does not stain, corrode or rust like ordinary steel. Plus stainless steel is an eco-friendly material, because it is 100% recyclable.
