The ROBOROBO ROBOT kit is composed of the useful assembling components such as CPU(ATMEGA 8M) board, IR sensor board, contact sensor board, DC motor & servo motor, and remote control etc, which helps children aged over 7 to 14 build several types of robot different by every chapter.  The children can make 12 kinds of robot by each step and the ROBOROBO ROBOT kits can be expanded into 5 steps. (It means 60 kinds of robot)   They can learn how to assemble & dissemble every kinds of robot, how to control the robot by their self- initiated programming skill.  In the whole process of assembling & dissembling and programming activity, they can strengthen the space perception, develop the brain power and easily access to programming skill.  Only BASIC and C program language requires the use of a compiler software. However in this kit the software adopts Graphic user friendly programming tool called ROGIC program designed by ROBOROBO engineers, which helps even the beginners easily learn how to control the robot by their programming skill.

a) Course: :  All curriculum is 5 step. The step 1 is the course for a beginner, the step 2 is the course for a intermediate, the step 3 is the course for a advanced student, the step 4 & 5 is the course for a mania.  Please keep in mind that the following steps after 1 step cannt be built without the components of the precedent course.

b)  Audience: Educational, Robot Enthusiasts. Suitable for ages 14 and up, it is used in hobbyist's homes as well as in middle and high schools, vocational schools, even colleges in pre-enineering and robotics courses.

c) Power Supply: 4 AAs for motor control

d) Assembly Tools:  A small Philips/fhexagonal screwdriver is included.

e) Time Required to Build and Program: 1 to 2 hours -  The built robot can be controlled by the download program provided in bundled CD .  

f)  I/O Components: LEDs, buzzor, infrared sensor, contract sensor and infrared remote control.
