Introduction:

Candyor Sweet is the most popular type of confectionery over the world, and there is certainly something about thisunique food that holds many mysterious qualities.  Generally candies are available in fruit basedflavors or Milk based flavor and some times with centre filling also. While we often think about candy as a foodfor children, we all know that adults love this delicious food as well.

Manufacturing Process:

Candymanufacturing is a simple process. Firstof all, certain ingredients such as are mixed in the homogenizer andtransferred to the cooking pan. In this method stirring is done manually. Thecooked batch is also transferred manually to the vacuum structure which removesthe moisture left in it after cooking. The vacuumised candy mass is thentransferred manually to the cooling plate for cooling. Once candy mass iscooled and mixed properly it is then transferred to the batch formerwhich rolls the batch into a uniform mass and is fed to the rope sizer to forma uniform rope of the required size. Thisrope is then fed into the candy forming machines where candies areformed in required shape, size and weight. The formed Candies are discharged on the cooling conveyor which coolsthem so that they may be wrapped and packed further. The formed candiesafter cooling are packed by packing machine like pillow pack, single twist ordouble twist machine.
