Oak engineered floorboards - specifications:

• Widths: 180, 220, 240 and 260 mm.
• Moisture content: KD 8-10%
• Tongued and grooved on four (4) sides, holes filled and sanded
• Bevelled lengthwise/alongside
• Base: 15 mm crosslayer Russian birch plywood WBP, toplayer: 6 mm Ukrainian oak
• Planing and sanding both calibrated
• Glueing: cascorit glue (Akzo Nobel)
• Lengths: 75% long (2000-2400 mm), 25% short (1000-1200 mm)
• Quality:

          Select:    acceptable sound pin knots to 5mm without colour change of the board.

          Nature:    knots max. 20 mm, Knotholes max. 15 mm, slight colour changes allowed.

          Rustic:    sound knots max. 4 cm, knotholes max. 3 cm, no heart, no sapwood, slight

                         changes in colour allowed, end cracks allowed with a max length of the

                         width of the board and max 0,5 cm wide, no insect damage, no worm(holes),

                         no rouge.

         Robust:     knots unlimited in size, heartwood allowed, cracks allowed untill half of the

                         length of the boards and max 0,5 cm wide, colour variations allowed,

                         sapwood untill 2 cm wide, no insect damage, no worm(holes).

Finishing

Our wide and long boards can be:

-      Oiled with our Rubio Monocoat Hardwaxoil (more than 40 standard colours)

-      Pre-stained

-      Brushed (options: slightly, medium or deep)

-      Smoked (options: single or double)

-      Aged (options: slightly/heavily/hand scraped edge)
