Apex Shears and Knives are manufactured to suit each application and customer design. They are available in a wide range of standard and proprietary chemistries suitable for either hot or cold work. They deliver the correct combination of toughness, shock resistance, and edge-holding characteristics required for each application.

Knives are available in a wide range of materials and are selected and heat treated to match the demands of line environmental conditions, strip characteristics, and shear design.

Apex Cold Shears up to 4000mm in length / 700mm in diameter are manufactured from Steel Grades such as AISI O1, D3, D2 etc.  Apex Hot Shears are designed for cutting materials having temperatures up to 1000°C and thickness between 20-205mm.

Knives and Blades for specialized applications can be designed on request.

Apex produces Knives and Saws for any cutting or trimming applications in pipe and tube making lines as well as upstream and downstream operations.

Apex Tube Forming Rolls are supplied for both Seamless and Welded Tube Mills. These Rolls are supplied with accurate profiles for trouble free performance. Apex manufactures to original machine design, user modified design as well as in special circumstances - our improved performance design.
