Paper star lights are traditional Diwali lights being used to decorate Indian homes
during the festival. Diwali is also popularly known as "festival of lights".
These lamshades/lights are becoming more and more popular due to there recognition
on the popular MTV "Unplugged" series.

These paper star lamshades illuminate when a 40 watt bulb is inserted into the center.
 They are handmade out of both milled and handmade papers and produced in
various sizes with numerous patterns.  Because each lampshade is hand made no one
is identical, however, the patterns remain consistant.
