Commercial description : It belongs to the Zea maydis L species. Purple corn is a unique variety in the world due to its purple cob and grains. This maize is a powerful natural antioxidant, because of its large amount of antocyanin, cyanidin-3-b-glucoside, this pigment also increases heart health improves blood circulation and protects the heart, thus providing anti aging benefits. It is produced in Peru after it is harvested it is disinfected and then classified, calibrated and packed for export. The whole process is carried out under an adequate quality and sanitary control.
