Inside of the package, you will find our latest innovated creation EcoLight. The first and only affordable muti-purpose LED lighting system for the modern fish tank. The EcoLight have day/night function, and not only can be modulized to fit your need; in the mean time, it also can lower the water temperature and save huge electricity by lower the chiller usage and light itself. A standard 2 feet T5 fluorescent light use at least 2 X 54W bulbs. That's 108W total. Compare to our EcoLight which only consume 14W !! The money you save will pay off the light by itself!!

The EcoLight also come with special design suction cups that allow the user to rotate the light tube up to 360 degree to focused on the target area, moreover, the light tube itself also can be fully submersible upto 40+ inches depth.

The 46 EcoLight come with 138 ultra bright white wide angle LED units for the day light simulation and 12 ultra bright wide angle blue lunar lights for the moon light effect. Total 150 LEDs!!!! Thats almost 6 times more than other similar products on the market!!! For the power consumption, the 46EcoLight use as little as 14.4W and create about 6000K color temperature.

The color temperature of light is the ratio of red to blue light waves measured in degrees Kelvin (K). At 6000 degrees (K), the ratio between red and blue is equal. The lower the content of blue light waves, the lower the color temperature. During the day, the color temperature of sunlight varies. It also changes at different depths underwater as reds are filtered out more rapidly than blues. Although blue spectrums penetrate deeper into water, species which live fairly deep rarely see the red end of the spectrum because it is filtered out by the water. They can actually be "bleached" to colorless by a light that is too intense. A "K" or Kelvin rating of 5000-5500 is a good estimate to simulate a noon sun in most tropical environments.
