This side bag hangs on your shoulder with comfort. The drawstring style closure opens very wide to allow you to put anything inside it - a brush, notepad, make up, even a book if you want to - it is very roomy. A smaller wrist bag with a zipper closure fits inside to carry your check book, credit cards, etc. I use soft leathers, faux suedes and fancy velvets for the outside and a good complimentary fabric for inside.
