PRODUCT DESCRIPTION SUPRASIL P10 OL is a specially modified inorganic adsorbent composition to be used in animal and vegetable oil refining processes. SUPRASIL P10 OL is not a completely inert material and with its cation exchange capacity, shows physico-chemical adsorbtion characteristics, therefore is not a completely synthetic product. SUPRASIL P10 OL is highly recommended for usage in removal of colour impurities such as carotenes, xanthophylls esters, chlorophyll and tocopherols, removal of free fatty acids, as well as improving the treated edible oils storage properties. SUPRASIL P10 OL is also effective for the removal of metaloxides and metalloid oxides for all types of vegetable and animal oils with its high surface area and pore volume. APPLICATIONS AND ADVANTAGES " Can be used seperately from the bleaching earth to show efficient color adsorbtion of the oil together with the maximum performance to remove the metaloxides." Shows 2-3 times higher filtration rate compared to common bleaching clays."
