Dan-Mar designs and manufactures Custom Keypad Encoders and Keypads for IBM compatible computer applications. The encoder, along with a custom keypad, provides a fully operational keyboard. Encoders can be programmed to fit your specific application and supplied with or without keypads.

ENCODER FEATURES The custom keypad encoder will support up to 128 keys arranged in an 8 x 16 matrix. It supports the standard PC-AT keyboard scan codes and communications protocol, and allows a custom keypad to be used like a standard PC keyboard. It is powered from the PC's keyboard port. The encoder debounces switch inputs and can support up to 3 simultaneous key presses*. It can also be programmed to block simultaneous key presses. The encoder will support typematic repeat of a held key if desired. |
