VATT-1600-4DK vacuum coater Is used for application of combined coating consisting of following layers: - metal layer; - layer of this metal compound (oxide, nitride or carbide) ; - SiOx layer Coating process is performed by planar arc cathode powered by inverter power supply unit with switch for cathode spot reversible movement. Cathode spots reciprocative motion is carried out by cathode spots end point sensors. That excludes cathode spot 'suspension' on cathode ends. Gas feed system has four channels and RRG-12 regulators. SiOx organosilicone layer deposition is carried out in 20-40 kHz, 400-100V high frequency discharge that burns between the drum with articles and antenna situated along chamber axis. High frequency discharge power supply is an invertor type supply. All vacuum valves and actuators use Camozzi air-operated system. All data and power cables are laid in a trunking system over the plant in compliance with all applicable Russian and European standards. Pfeiffer vacuum gauges are used for vacuum measurement. Control system and power unit are placed on different panels. Control post comprises controller unit, computer and a screen, gauges for all operating parameters and control panel. On the screen one may see plant scheme with states of its elements and production process parameters visualized online as long as operating mode and current process settings. The plant can be operated manually or work automatically-in this case operator just presses 'Start' button after loading and 'Open chamber' button after getting message 'Cycle complete' to unload the chamber. Operating program records all production process parameters enabling user to control and analyse the process.
