The most traditional pastry for the Lord of Miracles season in October. This is a traditional procession that is celebrated all over the world where there are strong peruvian communities, like Rome, Italy, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Maryland in USA, Caracas, Venezuela, Santiago, Chile and many more big cities. The legend goes Ms Dona Pepa was given the famous recipe on her dreams by the Lord of the Miracles, and she prepared it for the crowd and since then everybody eats the Turron to feel blessing of the Lord. 
Turron is a delicacy that is consumed all year round by peruvians and latinos that get the chance to taste it, its flavour is so great that is enjoyed by the whole family.
