The charcoal comes in 2 types: Black and white.

For the mah kiaw wood (black charcoal): It has a few origins. Namely: Malaysia, indonesia, and myanmar.
Burning temperature:600 degrees celsius

The black charcoal undergoes further processing before it is sold. There are 2-3 main types of final product.
(a) length:8cm, diameter:5cm-11cm
(b) length:8cm, diameter:2cm-5cm
Per bag is approximately:30kg.

The usual transactions are with japan and taiwan.
Quantity:40feet high-cube containers. (about 25 tons per container shipment)

For the bi chi tan (white charcoal), it originates from china.
(although it is called white charcoal, it is still black in colour. The charcoal is able to burn for a very long time, smokeless and when you "hit" it against the floor, it sounds like you're using a metal piece to knock on the floor. )

Burning temperature:1000-1200 degrees celsius

The white charcoal undergoes further processing before it is sold.
The diameters range from:1cm-6cm wide.
The packaging comes in 3 types:
(a) length:5cm-10cm, diameter:1cm-2.5cm
(b) length:10cm-18cm, diameter:2cm-4cm
(c) length:20cm-27cm, diameter:3cm-5cm
Per carton is approximately:15kg.
