About products and suppliers

Toys are invented mainly for the specific purpose of stimulating the social, mental, physical, and emotional capabilities of the user. Regardless of who the toys are intended for, this purpose remains constant. As such, dog toys are one of the most important tools in the arsenal of pet owners. They stimulate the positive interactions between dogs and owners.

Dog toys: why do dogs need them?

Just like in people, dog toys assist in fulfilling the emotional and mental needs of dogs. Despite being domesticated and trained to be a companion of humans, dogs still require something to work on that can stimulate their thinking skills. This prevents the feeling of boredom and stagnation in dogs, which could lead to attitude issues, such as developing destructive behaviors.

Pet owners tend to hoard a large number of dog toys for their pets. There’s nothing wrong with this tendency, but dog experts, especially professional dog trainers, highly advise not giving all toys to dogs at once. This is because, unlike kids, dogs can get bored with their toys easily. The ideal and recommended way is to give six to eight different toys at a time.

Different types of dog toys

Designers of pet toys have come a long way in terms of the design of dog toys. In addition to common dog toys, such as chew toys, dog squeaky toys, and rubber dog toys, interactive toys like snuffle mats are being offered to promote a more interactive and stimulating playtime for canines. A wide variety of plush dog toys, which include squeaky plush dog toys and animal plush toys, are also available for cuddly breeds of dogs.

At present, many wholesalers offer good deals for dog toys. This is good news, especially for businesses like pet stores or pet grooming centers that aim to diversify their pet product catalogs to attract more clients.
