Our cryo processors are computer controlled. With Cryotron's very own Vari-Cold process pre-programmed into the equipments controller. Any other desired cooling curves can be easily programmed into the processor. All processors are designed to run with the touch of a button, leaving all the work to the processor itself.
All the processors use liquid nitrogen (LN2) to make the process work. To utilize the LN2 for its greatest cooling factors Cryotron's processors are designed to run a dual system (gas and liquid). The LN2 is flashed off into a gas to cool the material until the inside chamber and all its materials are in a cryogenic state (approx. -260F). This is where the LN2 is introduced in its liquid state, which ensures no warm spots and a true -330F is reached.
