Product Application: with vinyl double bond within the molecule it can copolymerize with other momomers to produce copolymers with hydroxy group in the side chain.And these structures are readily undergo across-linking reaction.The most important application of HEMA is production of coatings. It copolymerizes with monoers such as styrene,methyl methacrylate,butyl acrylate and methacrylic acid and etc. produce coatings and primers for auto applications.Also in application of UV or EB radiation polymerizations,printing pads,printing oil,gel,contact lens ,and hearing aid equipment coatings.
