What is the Buyer Directory?
The Buyer Directory is a list of buyers from around the world who use Alibaba.com for their sourcing needs. The Directory will include brief descriptions of buyer companies, details about the products they would like to source, as well as an address, email, telephone and fax number for suppliers to contact buyers with.
As a buyer, why should I sign up for the Directory? What's in it for me?
Save time
Instead of you taking your time to look for products, the Buyer Directory turns the sourcing process around to let suppliers come to you with their latest products. At no cost to you whatsoever.
Build a reputation
Trust is a major factor when it comes to building successful online sourcing partnerships. Being listed in the Directory provides information to suppliers about what type of company you are, and shows suppliers you are serious about sourcing.
To whom is the Directory available?
The Directory will only be made available to Alibaba.com's premium TrustPass and Gold suppliers.
I'm afraid I'll get too many suppliers contacting me.
Our system ensures that only one supplier will be able access your contact information each week, so you'll be receiving four contacts a month at the most.
I don't want my contact information so readily available online.
The Directory is available only to third-party authenticated suppliers already registered to Alibaba.com such as Gold and TrustPass suppliers.
What do I do if I don't want to be in the Directory anymore?
If you are not satisfied with being registered in the Directory, you can opt to have your information removed by mailing us at alibaba@alibaba-inc.com.
Please note: Choosing to be listed in Buyer Directory means that you agree to disclose your telephone, address, fax and email to Alibaba.com authenticated suppliers.
