The Member Value Points system is a key part of Alibaba's 2006 Member Incentive Program. They can be earned and used within Alibaba's discussion boards and the highest point earners will be selected to receive great prizes, including premium gifts and free advertising for your products and company on Alibaba.com.

Earning and Using Your Member Value Points

You can earn your Member Value Points by participating in community discussions in one of two ways, either as an active participant or as a passive recipient. You can use your Member Value Points when you have a trade question to ask. Or, you can offer and give some of your earned Member Value Points to others as an incentive to encourage response. At year's end, the people with the highest number of points earned from the most useful and popular postings will win prizes. The more you earn, the better your chances of winning.
