1.Will I be charged for registering and submitting an IPR Infringement Claim?
There is no charge for registration and submission of IPR Infringement Claims.
2.How do I submit a claim using the IPR Infringement Claims Reporting System?
Take the following steps:
- Register and create an account, using a valid email address and a password
- Activate your account
- Sign in to the IPR Infringement Claims Reporting System and enter your contact details
- Provide details of your Intellectual Property Rights, including relevant evidence, e.g. copies of your registration certificates
- Enter the potentially infringing product listings linked with your intellectual property rights
- Print out the Notice of Claimed Infringement form, sign it and then send it to us by:

3.Can I check the status of my claim?
You can view the status of your claim in the "Intellectual Property" tab.
4.Can I file complaints against more than one company on a single form?
No, you need to identify the infringing product listings and submit a separate form for each alleged infringement.
5.What kind of IPR infringements can I report using the IPR Infringement Claims Reporting System?
The System can be used to submit infringements of:
- Patent
- Trademark
- Copyright
6.If I am already a member of the www.alibaba.com site (锟斤拷Site锟斤拷), can I use my member ID to report an IPR infringement?
No, you will need to register a new account.
7.Do I have to be a member of the Site to use the IPR Infringement Claims Reporting System?
No, any IPR owner can create an account and use the IPR Infringement Claims Reporting System.
8.I've forgotten my password: how do I retrieve it?
There is a link on the Sign in page that allows you to retrieve your password. Your retrieved password will be sent to your registered email address.
9.How do I find and add potentially infringing product listings to my claim?
- Enter relevant keyword(s) in the search bar on the Site
- Click "Search" and a list of search results will be shown
- Tick the checkboxes of the listings you consider to be in infringement of your IPR
- Click "Report" to add them to the IPR Infringement Claims Reporting System
10.What happens after I have submitted my claim?
After we have received your signed Notice of Claimed Infringement form by fax or email, we will process the claim and act on it in full accordance with our IPR Policy.
