Editing Member Profile

Your member profile information was submitted when you joined Alibaba.com.
You can edit it by:

  1. Clicking "Edit Member Profile" in the left-hand menu.
  2. Make the desired changes, complete all the required information (any field with a red asterisk * means required information) and click "Submit". Within 24 hours, Alibaba.com will either approve or reject your submission.


Change Email address:

  1. Click "Change Email address" in the "Account Settings" section.
  2. Answer the "Security Question" if you have submitted any after your registration. If you have not set a "Security Question" before, our system will guide you to choose a "Security Question" from the drop-down menu. You can then set a personalized answer.

  3. Once you have answered the "Security Question" correctly, you should then enter and re-enter your new email address on the page accordingly.

Change Password

  1. Click "Change Password" in the "Account Settings" section.
  2. Answer the "Security Question" you after your registration. If you have not set a "Security Question" before, our system will guide you to choose a "Security Question" from the drop-down menu and help you set a personalized answer.
  3. If you answer the "Security Question" correctly, then you can enter and re-enter your new password in the page accordingly.

  4. Once you have answered the "Security Question" correctly, you should then enter and re-enter your new email address on the page accordingly.

Set a security Question:

Your security question will be asked when you want to:

  1. Change your Email address.
  2. Change your password.
  3. Retrieve your password if you forget it.

Note: It is important to remember the answer after you set it.

To set your security question, you simply need to: click "Set a security Question" in the "Account Settings" section; choose a question from the dropdown menu; and then type in your personalized answer.

How do I subscribe to Trade Alert?

If you are already an Alibaba.com member, please sign in at My Alibaba, go to "Subscriptions" under "Account Settings" and click "Trade Alerts"

Follow the instructions to set up your Trade Alert preferences. Once you have completed the process, you will receive Trade Alerts by email as soon as any new content matching your preferences is published online at Alibaba.com.

If you are not an Alibaba.com member, you are advised to join Alibaba.com first and subscribe to Trade Alert as described above.

How do I manage Trade Alert?

If you are subscribed as a member, please sign in at My Alibaba, go to "Subscriptions" under "Account Settings" and click "Trade Alerts", where you will find the "Manage your Trade Alert preferences" section. Follow the instructions to modify your Trade Alert settings. You can also go to the "Manage Trade Alerts" page in My Alibaba by clicking the "Manage Trade Alerts Preferences" link in any of the Trade Alert emails you receive at your registered email address.

How do I unsubscribe from Trade Alert?

If you are already an Alibaba.com member, please sign in at My Alibaba, go to "Subscriptions" under "Account Settings" and click "Trade Alerts" and click "Unsubscribe".

Simply follow the instructions to unsubscribe. You may also unsubscribe by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any of the Trade Alert emails you receive at your registered email address.
