1. How to promote my products on Alibaba.com?

As a TrustPass member, you can display UNLIMITED products on
Alibaba.com to let millions of buyers find you easily.

To post a product, please take the following steps:
1) Sign in at "My Alibaba"
2) Click "Post A New Product" in the "Selling Tools".
3) Complete the form and click "Post New Product" to submit.

2. How can I find and contact valued buyers?

Besides posting product information to attract potential business partners, Alibaba also provides you a platform to search and contact buyers instantly.

You can search for buyers at our site by taking the following steps:
1) Go to http://importer.alibaba.com/
2) Input your preferred product/service name
3) Select country/region if necessary
4) Click "Search"

The buyers' information will be listed and you can get contact details after signing in. As a paid TrustPass member, you have full access to all buying leads. You can click the button besides each lead to send quotations to buyers or click the button to chat with buyers in real time.

3. How to send a good & buyer-friendly quotation?

A buyer may receive hundreds of quotations every day. So, writing a good quotation is very important to attract buyers. To write a buyer-friendly quotation, you may take the following three factors into consideration:

1) Customized subject: Differentiate your subject from mass quotations.
2) Useful content: Include necessary trading condition but keep concise
3) Attractive supplement: You can attach at most 3 photos in JPG or GIF format

4. How can I get latest trading information at Alibaba.com?

Subscribing to Trade Alert is the easiest way to get connected with Alibaba.com. Trade Alert is a FREE customized email that delivers product information matching your requests. You can subscribe to Trade Alert by taking the following steps:

1) Sign in at "My Alibaba"
2) Go to "Subscriptions" under "Account Settings" and click "Trade Alerts"
3) Follow the instructions to set up your Trade Alert preferences

Once you have completed the process, you will receive Trade Alert by email as soon as new content matching your preferences is published online at Alibaba.com.

Payment Concerns and Solutions

1. What currencies can I pay with?

Both US Dollars and Hong Kong Dollars are accepted.

2. Is it safe to pay by credit card or PayPal online?

Alibaba encrypts your information online by using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits, which is the highest level commercially available.

3. I was asked for the Security Code when I tried to pay by credit card. What is that?

The Security code is the 3 digits after the card number on the signature panel of your card. If there is no Security Code on your card, please contact your credit card company.

4. Is it possible for me to pay by cash, deposit or Western Union?

These forms of payments are unavailable for now, but you may pay by Credit Card, Paypal or wire transfer (T/T)

5. If I pay by wire transfer (T/T), will I be charged a commission?

Yes, commission will be charged by the bank, depending on the rate of the bank. If you do not wish to be charged a commission, we suggest you use a Credit Card instead.

6. Does Alibaba.com have a International Bank Account Number (IBAN)?

No. Banks in Asia use CODE instead of IBAN.

7. My payment attempt with a credit card/PayPal just failed. What can I do now?

If you failed to pay online, please check:

a) Whether the card number you entered is correct
b) Whether there is enough balance/limit in your account
c) Whether your card is still valid and has not expired

We suggest you:

a) Try to pay with the same card or another card again
b) Consider paying by wire transfer (T/T)

8. Is there a Free Trial or installment payment option for TrustPass memberships?

You may join Alibaba.com as a Free Member, but there is no free trial option for TrustPass memberships. Installment payment is not available for TrustPass memberships.

9. How soon is my account upgraded to TrustPass-status once the payment is complete?

The time varies depending on the Authentication & Verification procedure conducted by the third-party agency, ACP.

10. How can I secure an invoice or contract?
