I find posting products with a very low price is very effective in attracting willing buyers. The buyer is usually only interested in a low price. A low price makes communication easier. Pictures of products are also very useful. Seeing is believing.
When I receive buyers' inquiries, I usually study their background first before anything. Then, I will reply only to customers who introduced themselves at the very first instance and ask the right questions. I would prefer them to call me also.
Many buyers contact me through TradeManager. TradeManager is very similar to a phone call where you can understand your buyer immediately. I use Trade Alert to understand the segment that I am working in.
