Q: What do you do with the fish while you change the water?
A: the most suitableest environmental to clean the fishes tank is atleast 1 time per bi- weekly ( two weeks ) or once per month . if you dont concerned about money was later 1 time a week .

Q: Why does the water in my fish tank keep going down?
A: For your water quality i commend goldfish , they needed cold water from 50-75 degrees and a ph of 7.0-7.6 hard water but do not add any fishes till you get your filter and eco system up and running or any fishes you add 're going to die or suffer , eco takes up to 6 weeks be created .

Q: Do I need to change my fish tanks water even if I have a carbon filter?
A: No not amending the filter in around 2 months " time not harm you fishes unless the filter is running slow at that point ... .. as far as carbon relying on the about usage it last around 2 weeks more if more carbon utilized , ... .and carbon does not release the particulate in it ... .no i do recommend replacing carbon each month as it does remove phenol with obviously forms and can give water that yellow colours ... .it also removes any home hold chemicals that were likely make there way into the tank ... .and also carbon keep the tank from smelling as much ... . i would not put gravel in the filter as it my reducing the flow ... most filters already have some type of bio media in order to bacteria growth ... .. if you would have wished to add everything else to your filter i would solely recommend something like `` Seachem Purigen '' this thing works like carbon but better
