Q: How Do I use PVA as a varnish for wood?
A: I would believe you 'd run a high risks of the PVA flaking off over time . I am also not so convinced you 'd get a especially good looking finishing on it . I believe your bestest betting would be be purchased some polyurethane - the kind that comes just a spraying can , not the kind you paint on . Spray one side of the pendant/charm/bead , let it dry for a good hour or two was later flip them and spray the other side . Use light coats and repetition till you get a good finishing . With the polyurethane you are able also pick either a satin or glossy sheen . PVA would presumably just look dull .
