These screw terminal blocks work excellent. They allow you to connect multiple items without having to solder or splice. There will be much less permanent connection that can easily be changed when needed. They can be used in motors, electrical control, power, household appliances, lighting, machinery and other electric wire connecting.
1.Metal screw connectors are made from high quality copper and outer is made from PE
2.Each pair of terminals is insulated from the next, preventing circuits from disorder
3.The set screws secure wires reliable contact and help prevent accidental contact with the terminals
4.Screw terminal block can be cut to small part as you need using scissors, knife or other tools
5.Used for wires connecting of home appliances, electronic circuits, machines, etc
6.Regular order delivery time:3-5 weeks after order confirmed and the deposit received.
7.Payment term:Westoern Union,TT,Paypal
8.Shipping method:Samples normally ship via DHL.UPS.EMS.Fedex
Large quantity ship by sea
9.Packing:2pcs into one poly bag.The master caton package is according to customers requestment.
Q: Where is the power applied to this terminal block? They are all insulated from each other... I can't see where to attach the power supply. I tried eac A: The left screw is connected to the right screw. Each pair is separate for all other pairs. I connected a bare jumper wire to each screw on the left side. Brought power in to the top screw on the right and then each branch circuit to a separate screw on the right.
Q: What are the compatible barrier strips for these blocks? I order the one suggested assuming (as others did) that it was the right size but it was not. A: it is exactly 5 inches long and it is 12 terminal each terminal is 5/16ths of an inch wide.
Q: what size wire can is accept? A: Probably a 14 although I haven't tried that. 16 works.
Q: I got this thinking it was something entirely different. What would one even use these electrically isolated terminal blocks for in the first place? A: I used them on a train set . but they can also be used in radio instalation and other things depending on how you wire them.
Q: what is the largest wire guage that theae strips can accomodate? A: Depends on the connector that you put on the wire. I used mine with 12ga wire using a spade connector that would accept up to 10ga. So I guess it depends on how you plan to secure the wires. If you're going cram bare wire in there and cinch it down... I'd say 12ga is max.
Q: what is the pitch (spacing) between positions and the hardware requirements & mounting-hole pitch? thanks A: It depends on the size. Its at least a quarter of an inch and larger. Thereare severL holes for screws between the spacings. I use a lat jewelers screw driver to open up the slots where the wires enter.
Q: can I use small wires for this like cat5 ? A: Yeah but you might be able to come up with a better way to do whatever you're doing. You'll have to split it into all 8 wires too.
Q: Where to find an enclosure for this ? Or is there a 24 barrier screw terminal enclosure ? Not sure what to call it A: As far as I know, t are no these terminals. However there are some barrier strips that do come with covers, ;clear plastic. I have switched from these english terminals to the open strips with screws.
