Are you ready?

 

When the equipment was transferred to installation on-site. Our engineer and local worker firstly started to assemble the brewhouse.

 

 

Because the tanks are so heavy, the bigger vessels usually were located by forklift. 

I like Sweden guys who are strong and kind.The most important reason is that they do work fast and well.

The brewhouse mainly includes Flexible Auger, Grist Silo, Mash Tun, Lauter Tun, Kettle Tun, Whirlpool Tun and Hot Water Tank.

The brewhouse also has many device and parts, like hopback for hops filtration, grant for wort lautering, flowmeter for liquid measurement as so on.

 

For above 2000l lauter tun, normally we recommend customer can adopt the bottomed rake as below picture, that was stronger and stable.

 

 

We located the FVs, BBTs and Gylcol water tank in the cellar. It looks nice, right?

There are eight 2000l fermenters, four 2000l bright beer tank, two 4000l bright beer tank, 3500l glycol water tank, 100l yeast propagation tank and 200l yeast cycle tank in the cellar.

 

 

 

The installation site looks a  bit messy. Please don't worry. Because we were piping the glycol water line for the cellar.

 

 

 

 

 

The four 2000L bright beer tanks were located in the other side. 

Our engineer had a happy cooperation with the local guys.

 

Kansa brand chiller is very famous in the brewing field. The chiller has a lot of protecting controls: protector for pressure, overload, anti-freeze, delay, over-temperature, flow.                                                                        

 

We spend 15 days on installing all the machine. Finally we can start to firstly brew beer to test all the equipment.

It is normal to meet problems when the machine is first test run, Please don't worry, because our engineer can find out a way to solve it in time.

 

The following picture is raw hops. Because we brewed the beer was very srong, we have to add plenty of hops.

 

Our engineer recommended the brewmaster don't  directly add hop flowers into the kettle tun. This is harmful not only whirlpooling but also wort exhcanger.

So we used  gauze element to cover all dry hops flowers for wort boiling. It's a good idea.

3. FAQ

 

Q: What size brewery building do I need?
For a brewpub a lot depends on what your yearly volume is and how many different types of beer

you want to offer. The minimum surface starts at about 20m2. There are also some estimate area

requests in our different brewery systems in specification above. 

For microbreweries the main factor is yearly volume. For small microbreweries a floor space of

300m2 is often more than sufficient.

Q: Can I brew all types of beer on the TBE brewing equipment?
Contrary to the open-vessel fermentation system mainly used in Eastern Europe and Germany,

all beer styles can be brewed with our system. This means that a wide variety of ales and lagers

can be made. Given the infectious style of Lambics, we do not recommend brewing or packaging

these beers on shared equipment. 

 

Q: How long does the fermenting equipment last?
Given the fact that most elements in a brewery are made of stainless steel, the longevity of a

brewery is high. Given proper maintenance and the careful use of chemicals, a brewery can be

used intensively for about 20 to 30 years. For some elements such as fillers and labelers with a

lot of moving parts a shorter lifespan should be considered and more maintenance will be nece

ssary, depending on the use.
