Micro brewery beers

Micro brewery is typically applied to breweries that are much smaller than large-scale corporate breweries and are independently owned, but larger than breweries for restaurant, bars etc., as it distributes beer to local restaurants and bars, parties etc. To run a microbrewery and get suitable margin from this kind of business model, we suggest to start from 600L(5bbl)/brew capacity minimum that concerning both the budget limitation and expanding capacity in future. Also 2000L-5000L beer equipment are common to see for a little larger business.

Micro breweries are more professionally functional and concerns more details to brew in a more smart way, trying to decreasing the factors that may affect the brewing speed or beer flavors.

Most basic brewing process for micro brewery:

Milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, whirlpool, fermentation, maturing, cooling, temperature controlling, cleaning, beer filling

Red copper Brewhouse

For red copper brewhouse, the  2mm thick exterior shell is changed from stainless steel to red copperdirectly. The red copper brewhouse is more luxury and shiny than stainless type, so it is suitable to be placed in restaurant, brewpub etc to catch clients' attention. 

Bottom grain rake
The grain rake and motor is fixed on tank bottom. It is adopted in 2000L and larger brewery as the dish head has been not able to bear the heavy motor and reducer. 

The dozer is lifted automatically. 

Top grain rake

The grain rake and motor is fixed on tank top. It is adopted in microbrewery which is smaller than 1800L as the motor and reducer is not heavy and the dish head can bear them easily. 

The dozer is lifted by chains manually.


The platform is with many holes, so it can avoid slip better. It has an interesting name, fish-eye platform. :)

The welding technology is very important for microbrewery equipment. Excellent welding looks like fish scale as we how in the picture.

The racking port is horizontal. The brewmaster does not need to loose the tri clamp with this design, which can advoid beer leaking efficiently.

For tank inside, firstly, we would polish the welding line, then acid wash and passivate the entire surface to 0.2-0.4um without dead corner.

Before manufacturing, it is necessary to finalize the brewery layout with customers. On one hand, we can double check if the equipment can fit the building. On other hand, the location of tank would influence the direction of port. 
3D Brewhouse

The 3D drawing can show the brewery design in details. If the customers want to install the microbrewery equipment by themselves, 3D drawing can guide them to connect the accessories, piping etc very well.
