Beer Packaging Quality Requirements

1.1 Description of Beer Packing Industry

Beer packaging is the last procedure of beer production processes, is also the biggest impact on the quality of beer. Packaging quality is good or bad, will directly affect the beer quality and appearance quality. As the beer market competition becomes more intense, people pay more and more attention to the packaging quality of beer, increasingly the pursuit of product quality and external harmony of beauty. Only maximize meet consumers’ psychological needs, to win the market. 1.2 QB Standard of Bottled Beer

1) Liquid level qualification rate of accuracy: (level precision is not more than + / - 6 mm), When the     minimum level of capacity should be reached more than 98.5% of the nominal capacity.

2) Beer loss rate is not greater than 0.6%.

3) Oxygen filling increases: when first vacuum, it is not greater than 0.15 mg/l, when secondary vacuum, it is no greater than 0.04 mg/l.

4) The bottleneck of air volume is not greater than 2 ml.

 1.3 The Specific Packing Requirements:

Beer packaging quality can be divided into two aspects: one is the immanent quality of beer packaging; the second is the appearance of the beer packaging quality. On the one hand, brewed beer packaging must keep good beers original inner quality indicators; avoid impurities and beer turbid by microorganisms, etc. On the other hand, have better appearance and package loss as low as possible. The specific packing requirements as follows:

1. Strict aseptic requirements. Packaged beer should conform to the hygiene standards; prevent the microorganisms or microbial contamination, to ensure the biological stability.

2. In the packaging process should try to reduce CO2 loss, in order to make sure the taste of beer and foam properties.

3. In the packaging process should try to avoid contact with air, as far as possible reducing the intake of oxygen, prevent influence by oxidation stability and non-biological stability of beer flavor.

4. Bottles and cans inside and outside clear, trademark right, close to the surface, sealing closely, no leak leakage phenomenon.

5. Liquid level orderliness, capacity accord with a standard request.

6. Packaging losses as low as possible.

 Introduction

HEM-F 16/16/6 type beer bottle rinser-filler-capper 3-1 unit machine is designed combined with the actual situation in our country after the introduction and absorption. It adopts the bottle filling and capping technique of Germany technology. It has been specially used to microbrewery.

It adopts isobaric filling principle and filling valve adopts high precision mechanical valve. It has advantages of fast filling speed, high precision in liquid level. Adopt Siemens automatic controlling system, realizing trinity of the machines, and control the washing, filling and capping process and realize that it only starts to filling when there is a bottle, otherwise it will stop filling and no broken bottles. The filling process is cleaner and pure due to it’s twice vacuumization of bottles, and more stable because of isobaric filling operation. Using vacuum pump and CO2 preparing pressure to realize a second vacuum ensure no air and bacteria in the bottle, guarantee the filling quality and warranty quality time. Filling cylinder braces use worm-gear box going up and down to satisfy bottles of different height. Float switches in the filling cylinder ensure a smooth liquid inlet.
