7075 t6 Mill Finish 0.25mm Mirror Reflective Aluminum Sheet

v The non-heat treatable alloys of 1xxx, 3xxx, and 5xxxx are all strengthened by various degrees of cold working, as denoted by the "H" tempers.

v The heat treatable alloys of 2xxx, 6xxx, and 7xxx are such that when subjected to thermal temperatures, they gain pronounced strengthening. Hence, tempers are indicated by "T". These alloys are also inventoried in clad form to increase corrosion resistance.

v All of the aluminum alloys are available in the annealed condition or commonly referred to as "O".

v Thicknesses from 0.12 through 6.0” are available for your immediate needs.

Chemical Composition

5052 Aluminum Sheet

5052 aluminum sheet and coil have good workability, high fatigue strength and good weldability. It has very good corrosion resistance, especially in marine environments.  5052 aluminum sheet can be anodized to improve the corrosion resistance of the material in corrosive environments.

Detect-Metals has a wide range of sizes readily available to the AMS 4015 for O temper, AMS 4016 for H14 and AMS 4017 for H34.

Hengji Metals offer as wide range of stock sizes and processing capabilities for your company’s needs.  Stock sizes range from .032 – 6.0” x 48/60 wide and 96/120/144 inches long.  We also have shearing capabilities to meet your projects specific needs.

5083 Aluminm Sheet

Alloy 5083 aluminum sheet have higher strength than 5052 plate and has exceptional thermal conductivity. In the tempered condition, it retains good formability due to excellent ductility. It is highly suitable for welding and can be hardened by cold work. Because Alloy 5083 exhibits excellent resistance to general corrosion, it is used in marine applications. Since alloy 5083 aluminum sheet is capable of withstanding extremely low temperatures without brittleness or loss of properties, it is especially suited to the cryogenic market.

Applications:

  • LNG ship construction
  • Pressure vessels
  • Storage tanks
  • Welded structures (high strength)
  • Armor plate
  • Drilling rigs

Hengji Metals stocks thicknesses of 5083 aluminum sheet from .250″ – 2.00″, widths up to 120″ and lengths up to 300″ or can accommodate any customer specific requirements. All material is fully certified to ASTM B209 and ASME SB209.

5086 Aluminum Sheet

Alloy 5086 aluminum sheet have even higher strength than 5052 or 5083 and its mechanical properties vary significantly with hardening and temperature. It is not strengthened by heat treatment; instead, it becomes stronger due to strain hardening or cold working of the material. This alloy can be readily welded, retaining most of its mechanical strength. The good results with welding and good corrosion properties in seawater make Alloy 5086 extremely popular in marine applications. 5086 aluminum sheet has been used in vehicle armor plate due to its high strength factor.

7075 Aluminum Sheet

Alloy 7075 aluminum sheet and coil have been and remain the baseline standard with a good balance of properties required for aerospace applications.  7075 aluminum sheet is among the highest strength alloys available and used in highly stressed parts.  Corrosion resistance and machinability are rated as fair, though the addition of chromium provides good stress-corrosion cracking resistance in 7075 aluminum sheet products.  As with alloy 2024, alloy 7075 is available in bare form or in clad (“Alclad”) to offer even further protection from corrosion.

  • Alclad skin sheet

Hengji Metals stocks a full product line ranging in thicknesses from .016 – 6.0” and in widths of 48″ and 60″.  All are certified to ASTM B209 and both Bare and Alclad are certified to the appropriate AMS-QQ-A and AMS specifications.

6061 Aluminum Sheet

Alloy 6061 aluminum sheet and coils are the most versatile of the heat treatable aluminum alloys.  Though less strong than most of the 2xxx and 7xxx alloys, 6061 aluminum provides an extensive range of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance and can be fabricated by many of the commonly used practices.  In the “O” temper or annealed condition, alloy 6061 aluminum sheet has good formability.  In the T4 condition, fairly severe forming can be done; whereas, in the T6 condition, properties may be obtained by artificial aging.
