1. About the focusing of the telescope and the calibration of the crosshair mirror
Loosen the two captive screws on the eyepiece adapter. Remove the low-power eyepiece and attach it to the eyepiece adapter, and then tighten the screw. Adjust the focus knob to obtain a blurred image of an object A in the distance, and then slowly adjust the focus knob back and forth until the object is clear. The telescope has precisely adjusted the focal length and can now be observed with a finder. If the finder is not at the focal length, turn the eyepiece until a clear view appears. When the object image of the object A you see on the telescope is not at the center of the trajectory of the finder, adjust it as follows: Tighten or loosen the screw on the finder bracket to make the finder go up and down. Move in an oblique direction. When the object image of object A appears in the center of the crosshair, your finder is calibrated and the three screws are tightened. Then replace the low-power eyepiece with a high-power eyepiece and repeat the above procedure. If the center of the image is observed under the highest magnification eyepiece and also at the center of the crosshair of the finder, your finder is aligned. Now you can quickly find the object you want to observe. In very special cases, the finder may need to be adjusted.

2, matters needing attention
A. In any case, use the finder to find the object, because the finder's angle of view is larger, which can greatly speed up your coarse adjustment.
B. Under normal circumstances, first install the low-power eyepiece, gradually increase the multiple you need, and make necessary adjustment when you change the eyepiece.
C. Don't be bothered by the up, down, left and right images you see. This is a normal situation for astronomical telescopes.

3. Effective observation instructions
If the telescope is taken outdoors for the first time in an air that is cooler than the room temperature, it will take a few minutes to use it again - because the temperature difference will fog the lens. This phenomenon will disappear after 15-20 minutes. If your eyelids or fingers touch the eyepiece, gently wipe the eyepiece with a lint-free cloth to prevent blurred images. It takes about 30 minutes for your pupil to zoom in to the dark, so use the telescope at night and you can see much darker objects in half an hour.
