Product Details

The coating is a two-component system formulated with epoxy resin, coal-tar pitch, anticorrosive pigments, thickener, polyamide curing agent, etc.. Component B is a common curing agent for both brown coating and black coatings. 

Excellent water resistance and rust resistance.

Good chemical resistance and oil resistance.
Good adhesion, impact resistance, abrasion resistance.
Good cathodic protection performance.


Used for Ship bottoms, ballast tanks, crude oil and fuel tanks, sewerage tanks, port steel poles, offshore drilling plats, steel water gate, mine steel support, pipes, other steel structures and concrete substrates.

Surface Preparation

Steel with oxide scale should be blasted up to SIS Sa2.5Grade.
Steel without oxide scale should be blasted to SIS Sa2.5Grade or sanded to St3Grade with pneumatic or electric equipment.
Steel coated with shop primer should be re-rust-removed, and free from damaged shop primer and other dirt, then sanded up to SIS St3Grade.

Application Conditions

The substrate temperature should be 3℃higher than dew point, and the relative humidity should be less than 85%.When the substrate temperature is lower than 5℃, avoid application because the reactions between epoxy and curing agent stop.

Proceeding Coat

  H06-1 zinc rich epoxy shop primer, H06-1-2 zinc dust epoxy shop primer, H53-5 iron oxide red epoxy shop primer, E06-1 inorganic zinc silicate shop primer, E06-2 inorganic zinc silicate shop primer, H53-6 epoxy MIO antirust coating.
Or directly applied on steel substrate with a rust-removing grade of Sa2.5Grade.

When air temperature is over 30℃, overcoating effect is the best when coating film still sticky.
If exceeded max. overcoating interval, sand the coating film before application to insure good adhesion.


Avoid inhalation of solvent vapors or paint mist for a time, as well as paint contact with skin and eyes. Apply only in well ventilated areas and ensure adequate forced ventilation when applying paint in confined spaces or when the air is stagnant. Wear protective cloths and gloves during applying even there is good ventilation.


The wet film thickness and dry film thickness listed above are the values in the case of high pressure airless spray.
