How do I choose the right paperweight for my project? There are a few things you need to consider when selecting the right paperweight for your project. How large is the item you would like to display? If you are displaying a dimensional item such as a shell or a small piece of costume jewelry, how thick is it? What frame shape will best showcase your artwork (round, oval, rectangle)?
PhotoWeights are available in a variety of shapes and sizes. Our online shop includes the overall measurement of each paperweight, as well as the dimensions of the artwork display area and the depth of the bottom recess. (The depth of the bottom recess is the interior ceiling height of the cavity within the paperweight.) If you're displaying a shell that measures 1/8" deep, you'll need a paperweight kit that has a bottom recess slightly deeper than this measurement.
What are you paperweights made of? All of our paperweights are made of clear resin /acrylic.

PAYMENT What forms of payment do you accept? We accept Paypal and all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex). You can also send us a check or money order by mail. Please select your payment option during checkout.
Do you charge Sales Tax? Sales Tax will be charged on orders shipped within South Dakota.
SHIPPING & HANDLING Can you estimate my shipping costs? You are able to see shipping costs at checkout before finalizing your order. If you'd like an estimate, simply add the items you would like to purchase to your cart. Once you've entered your state and Zip code (country and postal code for international customers), our cart will display the available shipping methods and costs.
How long does it take my order to ship?
Orders for in-stock items are typically shipped within within 1-3 business days. If your order must arrive by a specific time, please let us know by including a note in the comments field of your cart. When an item is out of stock, the product page, beneath the price, will reflect availability information. If your order includes one or more items that are on backorder, we will send you a backorder notification by email to let you know when your order is expected to ship.
Can I cancel my order once it's placed? Orders may be cancelled within 24-hours if they have not been processed for shipping. If you placed an order that includes 50 or more paperweight kits, we regret we cannot cancel the order if; (1) it has been processed for shipping, or (2) we have ordered off-site inventory to fill your order. If you would like to cancel your order, please send your cancellation request to us as soon as possible by email or via our contact form.
Can I rush my order? You can choose an expedited shipping option at checkout. Please note that your order will still take time to process and prepare for shipping.
Do you ship internationally? We do! Please note that import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item prices or shipping costs. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchasing.
Can I check the status of my order online? If you created a password for our website, you can check the status of your orders and track packages through our website. Look up order status.
How do I manage my account information? Changes to your account may be made through your Account Administration Page, as long as you have established a password for our website.

Do you offer gift wrapping or a gift note? All of our paperweight kits may be ordered in a signature gift box for an additional $2.75. This option may be added above a paperweight style's Add to Cart button. We'd be more than happy to include a white enclosure card with your handwritten message. Please include your gift message in the "Special Instructions" field of your cart during checkout.
