Karesansui traditional Japanese rock gardens of the kind that are plentiful in Kyoto can be reproduced
on top of your desk to soothe the spirit. Rock gardens (otherwise known as dry landscape gardens) are gardens without water.
This style of garden represents mountain and waterside landscapes with rocks and stones
but without using water. White sand and pebbles are often used to imitate the surface of water.
Flowing water is sometimes represented through surface patterns created in gravel.Stone lanterns carefully produced by hand by skilled craftsmen. These lanterns have been worked down
to the fine detail. A variety of compositions can be enjoyed by freely rearranging the elements.
Four different types of stone lanterns are available. Stone lanterns are available in the four following types:
Kaku Yukimi, Maru Yukimi, Kasuga and Rankei.
