• Wall Distance: Maintain about 6 inches (15 cm) of space between the net and the wall. This prevents mosquitoes from crawling down the wall and finding gaps to enter, especially if the net touches the surface.
• Hanging Height: For ceiling-suspended nets, the top should be at least 7–8 feet (2.1–2.4 meters) above the floor to allow full drape and clearance. Adjustable hooks or ceiling mounts help achieve the ideal height.
• Bed Fit: The net must fully cover the sleeping area—larger beds may require rectangular or canopy-style nets instead of round ones.

Proper installation is crucial: even a small gap can compromise protection. Always inspect for tears and ensure the net remains intact and correctly positioned throughout the night.
