Key Programmers
Key Programmers are among the most common types of car master key programming tools. These devices can handle a wide range of vehicle makes and models. Some operate through the OBD port, which is typically located beneath the dashboard, while others function as standalone units that connect directly to the ignition lock or ECU. Regardless of their sophistication or cost, all key programmers share basic functions such as programming transponder keys, erasing or modifying existing keys in the vehicle's system, generating new keys, and reading key and PIN codes.
