Grub screw

A set screw is another name for a grub screw. This type of fastener secures an object in or against another one without leaving any part above the surface and thus provides a neat finish. Unlike many screws, it lacks a projecting head. Instead, it is driven in with an internal drive such as a hex key or screwdriver slot. They are particularly useful when there isn't much room to work or if the presence of regular screw heads could disrupt the machinery's functioning.
