Head 3

The function of head 3 is to streamline the gases at the inlet and outlet in the cylinder while injecting the fuel. The cylinder head also seals the lower block so that the compression can build up in the cylinders for optimal combustion.

The head machining is the most complex part of an internal combustion engine giving the number of rotating and moving parts. Also, many parts are mounted on head 3 such as the intake and exhaust manifold, the camshafts, and the valves. When installing new head 3 to your auto engine, it's also important to set up new cylinder head gaskets, and some new bolts or nuts as these latter are extensible and/or disposable. If your old cylinder is worn or damaged, we advise you to replace it with one of our head 3. This is more cost-effective (because we offer competitive prices) than to port and polish heads on your own or sending them to a machining shop.
