What is a rubber sheet?

A rubber sheet is a sheet made of rubber that can be used for many different things. They usually come in long rubber sheet rolls, though individual sheets can also be found. The sizes of the rubber sheets may vary by seller, intended use, and form factor. Foam rubber sheets will typically be thicker and sold individually. Thinner rubber sheets, like rubber fabric, are often sold in rubber rolls.

What is a rubber sheet made of?

Though they are called rubber sheets, they can be made from many different types of materials. Rubber is the most common, whether synthetically made or harvested naturally from the bark of a rubber tree. Rubber sheets are frequently used as conveyor belts and as anti-vibration padding, as rubber is a known vibration-reducing material. Other uses include insulation, food preparation and processing, and weatherstripping.
