A: To change the rear seats in an 89 Prelud . To change the rear seats in an 89 Prelude : \n1 ) Fold the back seating down.\n2 ) Get in the automobile , and on one of the sides at the hinge for the seating , there exist a small black plastic spacer with a small tab for grabbing , pull this out\n3 ) With that spacer removed , you are able slide the seat-back to the side so that it will pop out of the holes\n4 ) Now that the seat-back is out , you 'll see two ( 2 ) bolts on the body and the back of the seat-bottom , holding metal straps to the body . These straps 're for the seat-bottom . Undo them.\n5 ) The seat-bottom are currently held solely by two bent metal clips at the front that sliding into the body . Tilt the seat-bottom forward and later lift the seating out.\n6 ) If you wish to remove the head-rest , there exist two ( 2 ) bolts , one ( 1 ) on both sides of the open to the trunk , undo them . There 's a small tab in the centers that the head-rest slides into , so when you put it back in , you wish to make convinced you get it back in there . ( I 'm out of here by memory , maybe it is one tab on both sides , not convinced ) \n . \nReinsallation are only the reverse .
